§ 13-367. Loading and unloading in central business district.

  • (a)

    Loading and unloading shall be permitted for a period of time not to exceed fifteen (15) minutes from any street within the central business district (B-5) as defined in section 5.01, article V, appendix B, and as shown on the official zoning map of the city, provided that:

    (1)

    Adequate off-street maneuvering area is not available for the purpose of loading and unloading; and

    (2)

    A designated on-street loading zone of sufficient size is not located within two hundred (200) feet of the business being served.

    (b)

    Any vehicle loading and unloading pursuant to this section shall park as close to the street curb as possible in order to minimize traffic disruption. Loading or unloading done contrary to the provisions of this section or section 13-366 shall be unlawful.
