§ 23-34. Additional vehicles.

Any time that additional vehicles are proposed to be used in connection with any taxicab business over and above the number listed in the certificate, the holder of the certificate must file an application for an amendment to the certificate with the chief of police. The application for such amendment shall be submitted by the chief of police to the city council for consideration at its next regular meeting occurring not less than thirty (30) days after the date the application is submitted. The council shall review the application and shall take action based on the criteria listed in section 23-26.
