§ 2-72. Ordinance book.

  • (a)

    Entering of ordinances. The city clerk shall enter in an official book copies of all ordinances passed by the city council.

    (b)

    Notation of amendment or repeal. The city clerk shall write on the first page of every ordinance entered in the book mentioned in subsection (a) of this section, if the ordinance has been amended or repealed, as the case may be, the words "amended" or "repealed," with a reference to the page of the ordinance book where the amending or repealing ordinance can be found.
