§ 3-1. Closing out and similar sales.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person engaged in the mercantile business to advertise a closing out, knock down, bankrupt or going away or other special sale by posting a notice thereof on the front or on the outside of any store building with a cloth, board, metallic or other sign, whether written, painted, printed or otherwise prepared and posted for advertising purposes.
