§ 7-22. Adoption of residential building code.

  • There is hereby adopted by the city council for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing the construction of one-and two-family residential buildings in the city, that certain code known and designated as the North Carolina Residential Building Code 2002 Edition, as amended, recommended and adopted by the North Carolina Building Code Council, being particularly the current edition thereof and all future revisions thereof is hereby adopted and incorporated in this section as fully as if set out at length in this section and the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the corporate limits of the city. A copy of such code is filed with the fire marshal of the city.
