§ 8-6. Fees for interments and disinterments.

Except as otherwise provided, fees for opening grave spaces and for disinterments are reviewed annually and adopted with each fiscal year budget.

(1)

Opening and closing grave for an adult:

a.

Monday through Friday:

1.

Funeral proessions entering the cemetery before 3:00 p.m.

2.

Funeral processions entering the cemetery between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

3.

Funeral processions entering the cemetery after 5:00 p.m.

b.

Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

Opening and closing grave for an infant:

a.

Monday through Friday:

1.

Funeral proessions entering the cemetery before 3:00 p.m.

2.

Funeral processions entering the cemetery between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Funeral processions entering the cemetery after 5:00 p.m.

Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

Disinterments:

a.

Opening grave for removal of adult remains by vault company.

b.

Opening grave for removal of adult remains for wooden box.

c.

Opening grave for removal of infant remains by vault company.

d.

Opening grave for removal of infant remains for wooden box.

Opening and closing first grave for an adult when two (2) interments are to be made in one (1) grave space:

1.

Monday through Friday:

i.

Funeral proessions entering the cemetery before 3:00 p.m.

ii.

Funeral processions entering the cemetery between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

iii.

Funeral processions entering the cemetery after 5:00 p.m.

2.

Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

f.

Opening and closing first grave for an infant when two (2) interments are to be made in one (1) grave space:

Monday through Friday:

i.

Funeral proessions entering the cemetery before 3:00 p.m.

Funeral processions entering the cemetery after 5:00 p.m.
