§ 8-84. No-monument lots.

(a)

Lots 1 to 301, inclusive, section D, in Memorial Park Cemetery, are hereby designated as no-monument lots. No monument, mausoleum or vault shall be erected upon any of such lots; provided, however, that this limitation shall not be construed to apply to bronze or stone markers set flush with the ground. No grave marker or ledger shall be placed on top of any grave in which interment was not made in a vault made of metal, cement or other material that will not decay.

(b)

The city reserves the right to designate any lots in Memorial Park Cemetery as no-monument lots, and, when so designated, no-monuments, mausoleums or vaults may be erected thereon; provided, however, that this limitation shall not be construed to apply to bronze or stone markers set flush with the ground.
