§ 13-13. Riding on vehicle or portion thereof not designed for passengers.

No person shall ride on any vehicle, or any portion of a vehicle, not designed or intended for use of passengers; provided, however, that this provision shall not be construed to apply to any employee engaged in the necessary discharge of a duty or to a person riding within a truck body in space intended for merchandise.
