§ 25-300. Purpose.

(a)

To provide for delegation of authority from the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources (NCDENR) to the City of Salisbury for requests for water distribution and sewer collection system extensions and/or modifications which shall connect with the water distribution systems and/or sewer collection system operated by Salisbury Rowan Utilities (SRU), a department of the City of Salisbury.

(b)

To establish policies and procedures for processing water distribution system and sewer collection system extension and/or modification requests within the utility service area of Salisbury Rowan Utilities.

(c)

To provide for enforcement of this article.

(d)

To provide for compliance with NCDENR requirements as established by G.S. and associated administrative rules.
