§ 4-54. Investigation.

Applications for permits shall be referred to the police department for investigation. Such investigation shall be for the purposes of determining if persons making application are fit to operate a pool hall and whether or not the location named in the application is a proper place for the operation of such hall and complies with the laws and regulations relative thereto.
