§ 7-41. Plumber's bond.

  • Before any person shall do or cause to be done any plumbing work within any right-of-way of the city, such person shall file with the city clerk an approved bond in the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00), conditioned upon the faithful performance of duty in making connections with the water and sewer lines of the city, and to indemnify the city against loss to person or property in any manner whatsoever for any negligence or unskilled or negligent work or conduct in the installation of any plumbing or house drainage, or for any damage to water lines, sewers, sidewalks or streets of the city, or for the use of defective or improper materials in connection therewith.
